The Getaway is a small, family run Eco Camp set on the edge of the Comeragh Mountains in County Waterford, Ireland.

We are located on Cruachan, the nearest of the mountains to the historic port town of Dungarvan and backdrop to its harbour and square.

Whether exploring the surrounding countryside or relaxing outside around a campfire in the evening, The Getaway will help you restore that much needed inner peace.

Glamping

Our Luxury Spacious Glamping Cabins offer our guests fully equipped, self service accommodation.

Motorhomes

We provide 12 Motorhome Bays, all on hardstanding and all with Electric Hook Up. There is also a fully equipped Service Bay.

The Nook

Our "olde worlde" Campers Kitchen known as The Nook, is a great space for visitors to gather and relax.

"What a fantastic stay. Hilary was so easy to deal with when I had queries after booking and it was a pleasure to meet her. It’s clear the campsite is a real labour of love and my friends and I loved the different spaces, especially the nook and cranny. The pod was spacious, comfortable and really well equipped, they thought of everything. I would love to return and spend more time in the campsite. We used it as a base for exploring Dungarvan and doing some of the greenway."
