Not only can we provide the ideal base camp from which to access the surrounding countryside, we are also only a 5 minute drive from the N25 and a 10 minutes drive from Dungarvan, giving easy access to Waterford and its abundance of attractions.

Hiking & Cycling

Cruachan Mountain Trail

The walk to the summit of Cruachan Mountain is a short distance from our gate and provides stunning views of the local area.

​

It takes you on a 3 hour retrurn walk and affords a breathtaking 360 degree view of the Waterford coastline, Dungarvan, aswell as the Comeragh & Knockmealdown Mountains.

Colligan Wood

Colligan Woods is a picturesque woodland running along side the beautiful Colligan River. 

It's a wondeful place to relax, unwind and somewhere quiet that you can walk your dog.

The Waterford Greenway

Whether you walk, run or cycle the entire or part of the old 46km railway track from Dungarvan to Waterford, you will not forget the Waterford Greenway.

 

It has been named Irelands favourite adventure, with highlights ranging from the Ballyvoyle tunnel, the three viaducts, sweeping views of the sea, mountains and rivers.

Towns & Villages

Dungarvan

We are conveniently situated near Dungarvan. This picturesque port town has many thriving Pubs & Cafe's as well as some of the best restaurants in the country.

 

There is also a large Shopping Centre, Cinema, Museum, Castle and of course its famous historic square.

Lismore

The wonderful historic town of Lismore, with its majestic Castle situated on the banks of the River Black Water set high amongst the trees, it is a beautiful place to visit.

 

There is a farmers market just outside the Castle every Sunday and variety of other events held throughout the year.
